I attended the Global Internet Summit in Dubai in December 2006 which inspired me to start the Internet businesses.

During this seminar I bought 2 products - Tom Hua’s guides to Internet business and a promise to market my site through his email list, and David Cavanagh’s Newbie course. I paid more than US$ 5000 for both and then was dissatisfied with what I got for it!

Attending David Cavanagh’s 3 day seminar in Pattaya was quite useful, [and he is great when you can catch him] but I was unhappy with Tom’s down-loadable materials.

But when my site www.taxhavencompany.com was ready and he sent out his email - I got more than 400 visitors on a single day!! Wow. Hats off to him. His marketing is stupendous. I bow to him.

I just discovered that Aweber only sends emails once to the people in the list. Then it stops till that person opts in or verifies! So if the person is too busy to respond, that is the end of the story. Then you have to wait for 30 days to reload the email to your mailing list to reach that individual again! So how can we reach him again and again till he says stop?!

So I tried PhPlist. Installed it on my websites. Loaded up the list. Started emailing. 2 months later I discovered that it only sends the same message once to the email IDs. So I cant resend the same message. Need to get off my behind and write more messages!! And it sends messages only about 8000 per day. Sometimes it stops by itself. So I need to check on it every few hours.

This is all very interesting…

My Internet marketing guru’s told me to have a sales letter as the index page and the email ID box as the key to entering my site.

I launched www.cosmetics-hair.com in June 2007 with the sales letter as the landing page. So far I have had more than 2000 unique visitors, but no buyer. So I am thinking that I should change the format of the page?

I went live with www.cosmetics-hair.com in June 2006 and am marketing it through forums, an expanding email list and SEO. So far I have about 1200 unique visitors who are deciding on whether to buy from my site.

What should I do next?
